The ’90-90-90′ rule should be followed while sitting for children. When your child sits, his elbows, hips and knees should all be at 90 degree angles. This means that the height of your child’s workstation should be equal to their elbow.
The chair may need to be adjusted in size to accommodate young children in the proper sitting position. If your child’s feet hang in the air instead of resting firmly on the floor, then the feet should be supported or a stool should be given.
